July 5th, a day of hangovers and endless bloody mary’s. I hope everyone had a healthy, safe, and spontaneous Fourth of July filled with friends and family! Even though I had to work, I still found a way to rock TWO outfits that kept me in the American Spirit! The best part about it is that I wore one pair of shorts for both outfits, and just switched up the top, shoes, and accessories to fit for two different occasions. Lets check out both of the outfits below:
First Outfit:
I first started out with the statement of this whole outfit, my “Lady Liberty” shorts by Dirty Rotten Vintage!( Make sure to check out Dirty Rotten Vintage HERE for shorties that fit every occasion)
I then added my shredded flag top from Saks off 5th, showing off a little skin for the hot night of drinking & dancing. (Don’t be scared to show off that summer bod!)
Then I added my Kate Spade white square hoops, a silver cuff, which accented my Steve Madden metallic heels perfectly. This night out outfit for the fourth is sassy and different. Be daring, after all, it’s a free country.
Second Outfit:
This outfit was more for my boyfriend’s family party, and to rock at work. I took off the heels, added my Jessica Simpson gladiators, and paired them both with my New York City Girl muscle tee from Brandy Melville. The blue writing kept us in the spirit of July 4th, and of course I had to sport some New York City spirit! Then I took of the white hoops from the night outfit, added my new pineapple studs from Old Navy that I recently purchased on major clearance for $2.39, & then added my Accessory Mercado statement necklace! Left the braids in my hair, which work for day or night, took out some of my bangs and curled them for a more effortless & relaxed look. OH, and I kept my Dolce & Gabanna sunnies for BOTH occasions!
And there you outfit, two outfits, one pair of shorts, & one amazing Fourth of July! You don’t have to break the bank when trying to find an outfit for two separate occasions! Start with finding the statement of the outfit, like I did with the shorts, and search your closet or the clearance racks for pieces that can simply be replaced for each occasion! Cheers!
