Sometimes, the struggle is real. Whether you’re exhausted, busy as hell, or you’re not looking forward to getting dressed for the day, we all have that moment of wanting to be lazy. I had a meeting yesterday & was not wanting to even get out of bed & get dressed. So I thought to myself, “hmmm how can I create a comfy outfit that still looks presentable?” Alas, I found my t-shirt dress that I recently purchased- & get this- it was only $7. Lets see how I took something that could be considered “drab”; to fab.

I took this inexpensive t-shirt dress that couldn’t be more comfortable on a lazy Monday & added a flashy belt. The belt adds a touch of pizazz with the bright blue color & gold pendants. It also accentuated my waist instead of leaving me looking like a potato sack! (; I finished the look with some combat style looking HIGH HEEL booties (A heel of any sort just makes it look fancier- and I’m still comfortable because they are still considered boots!) And of course, the final touch, a bright lip & a cozy faux fur jacket that updated this look to all things class.

& there you have it lazy fashionistas! I turned a simple & inexpensive piece that is usually used for lazy days into a classy outfit. You’ll be ready to impress yet still feel like you’re at home on the couch! (;
