It’s Winter in Chicago & it is frigid. As style freaks- we all love to push the envelope. It seems as if we sacrifice our warmth just to look the best. But, that needs to end. I can no longer rock a tank & feel comfortable in 6 degree weather. It’s time to start wearing the things that make us the most comfortable but still look stylish. Lets see how I made two classic thermals that I purchased at Target for only $8 each- & still keep it as stylish as ever!
First Look:
This first look consists of this grey thermal. Would you ever think you could pair this basic winter piece with a fab tutu & heels? Well, you can y’all! I still felt fab & comfortable- which couldn’t be better.
I completed this simple look with a gold bar necklace to dress up the thermal-& of course- a bright lip! All dressed up with an $8 thermal tee? Can’t beat it.
Second Look:
This second look was just as easy. I switched out the grey for the sky blue thermal-added a fur vest, my most comfy black skinnies, & threw on my fave over the knee boots. A bit more casual- but still some pizzazz with the fur & the classic sunnies.
The detail in the fur collar gave it a fancier feel. Which is hilarious because I am literally wearing a tee that most people think can only be warn with a pair of jeans or even leggings! I am telling you- put your fashion thinking cap on and get those creative juices flowin’! You can make something super stylish by spending little money while still staying warm! I hope this inspires you all to, well first, run to target & stock up on these $8 thermals- but most importantly, to realize being warm can be as stylish as ever!
