Okay we are way past cinco de mayo….but are we past the hangovers? That shot of tequila with tabasco sauce has still got me feelin’ hot. Despite that disaster- I have to say my outfit had me feelin’ all sorts of festive. And I have to blame my hangover on my outfit- because if I didn’t feel so spirited maybe booze & hot sauce mixed together would of never happened. Let’s get to blaming:
Do you see what I mean? This kimono was the perfect little festive touch to any tee. I am obsessed with the flowy fringe & the little flower stitching! It’s light and airy making the perfect “throw over” piece to any tee or even a summer dress! Best part? I got it at my local thrift store for literally $10. Can’t beat it.
This tee. Ohhhh this tee. I have had this for years. I bought it when I was living in LA for $5 at the Urban Outfitters surplus store and holy moly is it my go to. One, because it is so comfy- sometimes I even sleep in it. Two: booze booze & more booze. Okay I swear I don’t have a problem, but booze and a comfy tee- they are some of my favorite things. AND the booze sayings were the perfect tee to wear for Cinco de mayo. Now only if it said… “Whiskey, Vodka, Tequila…hot sauce.” (; I saw always go “ballzy”- get a fun tee that can be worn with anything.
& last but sure as hell not least: these shoes. I also decided to go check out a new Saks Off 5th that just opened in Chicago- & that adventure lead me to these babies. I’ve been searching for a sick platform: & when I found these, it was love at first strut. These are Sam Edelman & I freaking scored them for $30! Like WHAT? Can’t beat it. They were the perfect cherry on top to my festive look. Hope you all had a day full of tacos & tequila! CHEERS!
